Call for Future Artists

At the Buchanan Center for the Arts, supporting artists is central to everything we do, and we want you to be a part of it. The Artful Find gift shop invites local and regional artists and artisans to join us in providing quality, one-of-a-kind works of art to those in our community to share with their loved ones. Together, we can ensure art remains a vibrant part of our lives and homes.

As an artist in The Artful Find, you can expect:

• Community visibility and a broad audience from those who attend the many activities at the center as well as those who pass by the retail display in the front window.
• Marketing in our weekly newsletter and social media promotions with various meet the artist highlights.
• Opportunities for artists to offer live demonstrations, participate in art talks, and teach classes or workshops.
• A generous 80/20% commission split in favor of the artist, with quarterly commission checks.

Currently the Buchanan Center for the Arts is closed for construction with a grand reopening planned for late January. In December, we’ll have a sneak peek for artists to see our updated and expanded gift shop space so you can picture your work on display. In the meantime, we hope you will be busy creating new pieces to help us stock our shop in January.

If you would like to be considered to be an artist in the Artful Find and receive an invitation to our sneak peek this December, please email Sarah Mayfield, smayfield@bcaarts.org.
