We are excited to welcome the Illinois Arts Council for an in-person informational session on its new grant opportunities.

You can RSVP by calling 309-734-3033. An RSVP is not required but it will ensure you receive any updates before or after the presentation. The informational session and its Q&A are expected to last about 60-90 minutes.
The Illinois Arts Council is a state agency that provides grants for the arts in Illinois. Over the past year the IAC has streamlined and simplified its grant programs and application process. It has also adopted a regional model to its grantmaking to allow for easier outreach to communities across the state. Jerome Grand oversees the Western Region and will be presenting.
The Session will review IAC’s grant opportunities, with a focus on the recently released General Operating Support and Youth Employment in the Arts grant, which is currently open with applications due July 19, 2024.
IAC is hoping to connect with:
o Individual artists
o Art educators
o Non-profits who do arts-based programming in support of their mission
o Community arts organizations who are, or want to be, 501c3 non-profits
o City, park district, and library arts programmers
o Local arts councils
