Artist Residency: #BePartOfTheArts

buchanancenter

During the summer of 2019, artist Natalie Curtis with the help of more than 200 community volunteers transformed the alleyway between the Buchanan Center for the Arts and the Warren County Public Library into a colorful and welcoming space with her #BePartOfTheArts mural. The mural represents the history of the arts in the community. Curtis also taught classes at local public housing locations, presented gallery talks on the arts, and closed her residency with the installation "Unframed Direction" in the BCA Gallery.
