AUDITIONS: 4pm Tuesday, September 10 and 6pm Wednesday, September 11 at Wells Theater for A Child's Christmas in Wales, a co-production between Monmouth College Theatre and the Buchanan Center for the Arts. Read about the auditions, and then sign-up for an audition slot at:

*Auditions are open to ALL Monmouth College students, as well as members of the community.

*No experience necessary! 

*Auditions for high school, college, and adults are 6-8pm Tuesday, September 10 and 8-10pm Wednesday, September 11. 

*You only need to sign up for ONE five minute audition. 

*Rehearsals begin in early October. Performances are November 21- 24. 

*Rehearsals will work with your other time commitments (classes, Chorale, work, etc.). 

*Actors should prepare a short monologue, as well as 16 bars (30 seconds) of a favorite Christmas Carol or hymn. You can bring sheet music, or sing a cappella, or bring accompaniment.

*Theatre majors should have a monologue memorized. All others are welcome to pick up a monologue at the audition. 

*Theatre majors should bring a photo and resume. 

 *Auditions for elementary and middle school students will take place 4-6pm on Tuesday, September 10, and 6-8pm Wednesday September 11. 

*No sign up necessary for kids. Just show up! 

*At the audition, children will be asked to sing a Christmas carol, and tell a short story (real or imagined) about a favorite holiday memory.
