Community Arts Access grant gives our arts partners opportunities to bring additional programming to our community. Our 2017 partners include Buchanan Community Chorus, Ecumenical Singers of Monmouth, Immaculate Conception School, and Monmouth Civic Orchestra. These performances are funded in part by a joint effort between the BCA, the Illinois Arts Council Agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Remember how powerful these opportunities are for our children and for the future of the arts in our community.
The Buchanan Center for the Arts (BCA) is currently accepting grant applications for the 2017 Community Arts Access program (Due Date: 5pm Friday, December 2, 2016). Funding for this program is made possible through the Illinois Arts Council Agency, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the BCA’s annual Taste of the Arts fundraiser held each November. The goal of the BCA Community Arts Access program is to support and promote creative and diverse artistic experiences in the Warren County region. Nonprofit organizations, individual artists, and K-12 schools are invited to apply. All art forms are eligible. Grant applications are due at 5pm on Friday, December 2, 2016 and are available at the BCA, 64 Public Square, Monmouth, or click on the link below.
